2009: New AMT Microphones endorser: Tony Lakatos

Currently residing in Frankfurt, Germany, saxophone player Tony Lakatos beyond a shadow of a doubt is one of the undisputed masters of his instrument in Europe today. Hailing from Budapest, Hungary, after graduating from the renowned Béla Bartók Conservatory in the seventies, Lakatos rapidly amassed an impressive discography topping 150 CD productions. Some as band leader, somes as sideman, always with musicians like Al Foster, Joanne Brackeen, Jasper Van't Hoff, Terri Lynne Carrington, Anthony Jackson en Kirk Lightsey. The Gavin Report reviewed Lakatos' productions as s "Recycling" and "The News" within the Top Ten Best Releases of the Year.

The quest of amplifying his P. Mauriat PMXT-66RUL sax, is now resolved with the AMT Systems Wi-5.
This system provides a bell clamp and a gooseneck for hassle-free positioning of the microphone. The tranmitter is incorporated into the clamp design as well (no belt pack required!), thus resulting in an easy to handle and extremely compact package.
